The colorwork pattern motif for this tea cozy is often called “peerie herts”—“small hearts”—but it also looks like a little Fower opening up to catch the sun. The tea cozy lining is single-color stockinette stitch. Steeks are used to make the handle and spout openings. The cut edges of the steek are hidden inside the lining. The name Bide Waarm is Shetland for “stay warm.”
