You’re never too young (or old) for stripes! You’ll have so much fun knitting the stripes the knitting will be finished before you know it. Knit the beret in a matching color or in something completely different. For fun!

Jumper: 18 (19, 20, 21)" [46.5 (49, 51.5, 54) cm] chest circumference / shown in size 18" [46.5 cm] / to fit sizes: 0-6 ( 6-12, 12-18, 18-24) months / Hat: 14¾ (16)" [37.5 (40.5) cm] brim circumference / shown in size 14¾" [37.5 cm] / to fit sizes: 0-12 (12-24) months

YARN: Sport/DK 164 -328 yds

NEEDLES: 16" circular in size US 5 [3.75 mm] / set dpns in size US 5 [3.75 mm]

GAUGE: 24 sts and 34 rnds = 4" [10 cm] in stockinette stitch, after blocking 

NOTES: Jumper is knitted in the round from the bottom up. Hat is knitted in the round from brim to crown.

SKILLS REQUIRED: Backward loop cast on, increasing, decreasing, working in the round, picking up stitches, changing colors.
