Learn to knit a Colorwork yoke sweater!

Mondays: January 5 & 12, February 2 & 23

This circular yoke sweater takes a surprising twist with diagonal colorwork cascading down from the neckline. Enjoy simple, engaging, and meditative knitting as the branches swirl around the yoke as you work. The yoke is beginner friendly colorwork with memorizable motifs and top down, seamless construction makes it easy to try on this sweater as you knit.

In this 4-session class, we’ll guide you through the entire sweater process, breaking it down step by step so you can knit with confidence and ease. Along the way, you’ll learn and practice key techniques. From cast-on to finishing touches, we’ll support you every step of the way so you walk away with a sweater you love.

Instructor: Heike & Rebecca

Skill Level: Adventurous Beginner. Participants should be comfortable with casting on, binding off, knitting, and purling in the round.

NEEDLES:
Needle A: US 3 / 3.25 mm DPNs or 16” (40 cm) circular (neckline).
Needle B: US 5 / 3.75 mm DPNs and 32” (80 cm) or longer circular needle for yoke, body and magic looping sleeves.
Needle C: US 4 / 3.5 mm 24” (60 cm) or longer circular for ribbed hem.
